Between black and white
Eleven digital illustrations born during the first lockdown. Rough brushes, dirty strokes, no colour.

From the technique
Born during the first lockdown, the inkuarantena project was a unique chance for me to experiment and rediscover my passion for drawing.
Inside the walls of home I used the themes imposed by quarantine as a source of inspiration, making digital works that borrow from traditional style. Black and white, rough brushes and imprecise, dirty strokes: these are the marks of the series, which reflects how extraordinary and uncertain that period felt.

To the story
Every drawing tells a story. Self portraits, football scenes, feathers and masks come to life on paper, an expression of the emotions lived through in that period.
An introspective journey through art: the drawings are not only images but records of an inner path towards discovering yourself and the world around you. An invitation to look closely and to reflect, to dwell on the detail and catch the nuance.
