A branded content launch campaign for Nobody Wants This, turned into a pocket guide to modern dating left in the bars of Milan.

What the series is about
Nobody Wants This is a romantic comedy exploring the unexpected and complicated love story of two opposites: Joanne, an agnostic, outspoken woman who co hosts a podcast about sex and relationships, and Noah, an unconventional but devoted rabbi.
The series opens with a chance meeting at a dinner party. Despite the huge differences, a spark pushes them to keep seeing each other. The plot builds around the obstacles their relationship has to face: social expectations, family pressure and deep cultural and value differences.

How the idea started
Nobody Wants This is not only a love story: it touches on very current themes, such as the impact of digital media on relationships, navigating interfaith differences and moving past stereotypes.
So I set out to build a branded content launch campaign that would really speak to people living inside the world of dating apps. A maze of complexity where more and more people try to recognise the toxic dynamics that end up poisoning a relationship. On early dates especially there is a deep habit of not seeing, or ignoring, the red flags, carried by early excitement or hope.
That is how the project was born: leaving small guides to modern dating scattered around the bars of Milan.
