From the technique
The music of Ariana Grande accompanied my growing up from childhood, giving me passion and inspiring me.
This university project comes from that admiration and combines my devotion to her art with my graphic skills. The aim was to reinterpret the graphics of her tour poster, leaving the original monochrome minimalism behind for a more dynamic, current streetstyle look.
Creative process
Musical immersion
I listened carefully to the album to catch the essence of the tour and its emotions.
Streetstyle
I chose an urban aesthetic, adding a brick wall as the backdrop and using graffiti to call back the song titles.
Graphic reinterpretation
I worked on the photos of Ariana Grande and recreated the graffiti by hand, leaving my own creative mark.
To the story
Making this project let me test my graphic and design skills, pushing me to face new creative challenges.
Reinterpreting the original poster demanded a careful balance between homage and innovation, respecting the essence of the original design while bringing in my personal vision. Making the graffiti by hand in particular was a meticulous, creative process.
